The provincial program is a weekly training program which includes on and off field training for athletes who aim to represent their province at a national level. FHC organizes national championships in the age groups U16, U18, U23 and Masters.
In 2022 Field Hockey Alberta will be represented in the U16 girls, U18 girls, U18 boys and Masters divisions.
FHA will not be sending a U16 boys team to the 2022 National championships. Because of this the trial period for the boys have been extended to give young players extra opportunity for opportunity outside their club environment. The team will be chosen from those who attended the trial period
