We all know the benefits of physical activity for our children. But how do we pry them away from their electronic devices and get them moving?
According to the American Academy of Paediatrics:
“Children who regularly see their parents enjoying sports and physical activity are more likely to do so themselves. Play with your children. Help them learn a new sport or another physical activity. Or just have fun together…”
Come join our Field Hockey Program for Parents where you will spend active time with your child, become a fully trained Grassroots coach and learn to love a new sport!
There are two phases to this program:
PHASE 1 - Safesport Training
Once completed you will be qualified to be an onfield trainer as well as manager for our competitive teams. Bonus: These courses can be transferred to/from any Canadian Coach Education Program (NCCP)!
Time Commitment: 6-7 hours
PHASE 2 - Community Coach Training
You will be trained as a Community Coach and will be able to coach any grass roots field hockey athlete, regardless of age
Time Commitment: 5-7 hours
