Dinos Field Hockey Ready for 2025
August has arrived, and the countdown is on! Just 10 days until the Dinos Field Hockey team begins their 2025 preseason camp.
The team has shown strong dedication over the summer, with 14 returning athletes staying in Calgary to train and play weekly. They will also welcome eight new players to the roster this season — a group bringing speed, athleticism, and high-level hockey IQ. Excitement is building as the full squad prepares to come together later this month.
2025 HOME GAME SCHEDULE
All games start at 11:00 a.m. local time
September 6 - Home Opener & Community Day
The season opens against UBC, featuring a field-side BBQ and Beer Garden. Friends, family, and fans are invited to join in and help kick off the season in true Dinos spirit.
September 7 - Cancer Awareness Game
The Dinos will wear pink to honor those impacted by cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and contribute to cancer research fundraising efforts at the game.
September 13 - Alumni Reunion
Alumni are invited back as the Dinos take on UVic. A post-game pub night will offer the chance to reconnect with teammates and celebrate the program’s legacy.
September 14 - Senior Recognition
The final home game will celebrate the contributions of the senior athletes as they close out their varsity careers.
