U10/Funstix

COED - Ages U10 (born Jan 1, 2012 - Dec 31, 2015)

Goal is to develop fundamental movement skills, running, jumping, balance and co-coordinative motor control.

Athletes are introduced to movements in order to develop and discover physical confidence, fun and build a love for field hockey. 

 Skills and Movement Fundamentals

• Numerous Locations across the city
• Auburn Bay-Tuesday evenings
• Mount Pleasant- King George School-Monday evenings
• SW location-Aspen/West Springs-Monday evenings

Saturdays -Skills and Match Play (3vs3)

U12 

COED - Ages U12 (born Jan 1, 2010 to Dec 31, 2011)

Goal is continued development of fundamental movement skills of: running, jumping, balance and co-coordinative motor control. Athletes at this stage should develop movement proficiency, confidence and begin skill acquisition. Athletes will be introduced to more unique co-coordinative skills specific to field hockey and match play.

Tuesdays- Practice/Skills

Saturdays - Tactical Readiness and Match Play (7vs7)

U14/U16

Goal is to develop physical capacity and field hockey competency. Moving into competitive play. Clubs listed below will be participating in games, hosted at the University of Calgary Hawkings Field on Saturdays along with weekly training dates/times of their choice. We invite you to contact the club of your preference. Registration will be completed through the clubs.
