Spring 2024 CJFH Funstix U8 Program

CJFH FUNSTIX U8 CO-ED OUTDOOR PROGRAM SPRING 2024

For children born January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017.  Athletes born in 2018 with previous experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

Participants are introduced to fundamental movements in order to develop and discover physical literacy,  confidence, fun and build a love for field hockey.  Includes weekday practice, 2 Festivals and Sunday Fun Games. Sticks provided, (with security deposit) or purchased at time of registration.

1. UNIVERSITY (UC Hawkings Turf) Mondays April 29-June 17 5:00-6:30pm (no session Victoria Day)
2. SOUTHEAST (Calgary Soccer Centre) Tuesdays April 30-June 18, 2024, 5:00-6:00pm

GRASS BASED COMMUNITY PRACTICES (shared with U10 program). Cost $195

1. WEST (West Springs Sports Park) Thursdays May 2- June 20, 2024  6:00-7:00pm
2. MACLEOD SOUTH (Centennial High School) Wednesdays May 1 - June 19, 2024 6:00-7:00pm
3. NORTHWEST (Royal Oak) Tuesdays April 30-June 18, 2024, 6:00-7:00pm

IMPORTANT NOTE: All athletes regardless of club affiliation must purchase a FHA/FHC membership for the period of September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. Those purchasing the Complete Outdoor Package will also need to buy the 2024-2025 membership on September 1, 2024 ($5 for children aged 12 and under)
