Club Programs

FIELD HOCKEY CLUB PROGRAMS - SPRING 2026

Our Field Hockey Club programs are run by local men’s and ladies’ field hockey clubs. These programs offer athletes the opportunity to participate in CJFH League games at the University of Calgary Hawkings Field on Sundays, along with weekly practice sessions at the times and locations of each club's choice. Each club runs its own practices and team organization but participates in the same CJFH League for games. Athletes register directly with the club.

Calgary Junior Field Hockey offers 5 Junior Leagues. 

U12 FEMALE CLUB PROGRAM

• For athletes born January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2015
• Participate in the Coed U12 League (5v5 format, 2x30 minute games)

U14 FEMALE CLUB PROGRAM

• For female athletes born January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013 (boys who participated in female teams last year are also welcome)
• Participate in the U14 League (11v11 format, 1-hour games)

U16 FEMALE CLUB PROGRAM

• For female athletes born January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011
• Participate in the U16 Female League (11v11 format, 1-hour games)

U16 MALE CLUB PROGRAM

• For male athletes born January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011 (girls are welcome)
• Participate in the U16 Male League (7v7 format, 1-hour games)

U19 FEMALE CLUB PROGRAM

• For female athletes born January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2009
• Participate in the U19 Female League (format tbd, 1-hour games)

Note: The league format may vary depending on the number of teams and participants in each division. For athletes aged 10 and younger or for Skills Sessions, please refer to CJFH Programs.

EXCITING UPDATE MAR 1! Should there be sufficient participants, CJFH Female programs for U14, U16, U19 will transform to an All-Female Super League, with tiers based on skill level and age. (born 2013-2009). Register with your club in age based programs and get more details in April.

Important Note:
All athletes, regardless of club affiliation, must purchase a FHA/FHC membership for the period of September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. For more details on membership requirements, please contact your local club.
