Bring a friend or two, to this introduction to Field Hockey!
Goal is to develop fundamental movement skills, running, jumping, balance and co-coordinative motor control.
Athletes are introduced to movements in order to develop and discover physical confidence, fun and build a love for field hockey. Athletes will be divided into U8 and U10 groups where numbers permit.
This program consists of two weeknights in the community and three optional Festivals.
Tuesday & Thursday nights: Skills and Movement Fundamentals/Skills and Match Play (if time is available)

Goal is continued development of fundamental movement skills of: running, jumping, balance and co-coordinative motor control. Athletes at this stage should develop movement proficiency, confidence and begin skill acquisition. Athletes will be introduced to more unique co-coordinative skills specific to field hockey and match play.
This program consists of two weeknights in the community and the option to attend three optional Festivals. There is potential to head to Calgary on Saturday's for Game play within the Calgary League.
