The U16 team roster is below. This is for the national championships tournament in Mississauga at the end of July, 2009.

Red Shirts - Cost for the red shirts is $100 for the complete season, payable to Field Hockey Alberta, online via paypal (all major credit cards) or by cheque, due May 27th, 2009. If you are chosen to participate in the National Championships at the end of July 2009, the levy will be set at $700 ($600 payable at the end of June, $100 paid in May will go toward this levy). Red shirts are still being assessed and have the potential to make the roster for the U16 National Championships to be named at the end of June.

Black Aces - Cost for this training squad is $100 for the complete season, payable to Field Hockey Alberta, online via paypal (all major credit cards) or by cheque, due May 27th, 2009. If you are interested in joining the Black Aces please contact FHA. The Black Aces are a group of athletes who have potential for the future, its a great way to train and gain experience within our High Performance programming.

The 2009 U16 levies are set at $925 ($550 for BC Club & an additional $375 if chosen to the National Championship roster at the end of June). This is payable online via paypal or any major credit card, or a cheque in the mail to the FHA Office, payable to Field Hockey Alberta.

Tournament #1 - BC Club Championships, Vancouver BC, May 29th - 31st, 2009

The BC Club Championships is a tournament in which FHA has traditionally sent teams to participate. This year is no exception. The competition is great, the atmosphere is family like and the athletes have a wonderful time!! We encourage beginners and athletes who have been playing for many years.

Tournament #2 - FHC U16 Nationals, Mississauga, Ont, July 29th - Aug 3rd, 2009

THe FHC U16 National Championships will be held in Mississauga, Ontario. This is the first year that FHC has recognized the importance of our younger age groups. Field Hockey Ontario is hosting this year's event. This is an exciting year for this event as well. The winning team will be given the chance to represent Canada at the Singapore Youth Olympics in 2010 by qualifying at a tournament in early 2010.
