Instructor Bio: Andrea Gibson

FHBC Coach of the year. Andrea has been involved in our community at all levels since she first arrived in BC 6 years ago. Head Coach to West Vancouver Field Hockey Club, Andrea has been an integral part of the clubs management team who have worked tirelessly towards integration of club programming with FHBC’s regional and provincial programming, to the benefit of all athletes. Particularly notable is Andrea’s commitment to Long Term Athlete Development and her employment of LTAD methods into club, regional, schools and provincial programming which has enabled many athletes to reach their potential and represent Canada. Andrea has been Head Coach of the West Vancouver Adanacs Program, a lead coach with the West Vancouver women’s league teams and helped develop FHBC’s regional and provincial teams to tournament and festival success.

Note:

As the NCCP evolves, there are new requirements. Even experienced coaches with past level 1, 2 or 3 certification will need to re-train and take the new courses. This is a great opportunity to either kick start your coaching career or get re-energized with new ideas, meet other like minded coaches and learn from a top instructor.
